Sluis, a perfect place for beautiful cycling routes!

Sluis is part of the cycling route network. Around Sluis you cycle over quiet polder roads and dikes. Enjoy panoramic views, nature, fortified towns, the city walls or the coast — often within less than 10 km.

With the cycling junction network you can plan your own route. Tips you should not miss:

• Around the city walls and canals of Sluis there is a nice cycle path. A loop around Sluis is about 5 kilometres. You pass windmill De Brak, old city gates and the deer near the football field.
• Combine the fortified towns of Sluis and Retranchement with a stretch through the dunes of Cadzand.
• From Sluis to Aardenburg, the oldest town in Zeeland, known for the Roman castellum and excavations.

Coming by car? Park affordably at one of the car parks on the edge of Sluis.

Bike rental and guarded bike parking

(Electric) bike rental is available at Rijwielhandel ’t Rinkeltje, Sint Annastraat 23. They also offer guarded bike parking. Closed on Tuesday (except in July and August). Website: trinkeltje.nl. Tel. 0031 (0)117-462616.

E-bike charging and lockers

Electric bike batteries can be charged at Rijwielhandel ’t Rinkeltje (St. Annastraat 23). Lockers are also available there.
