Programme for Open Monument Day in St. Anna ter Muiden.
In 2026, Open Monument Day takes place on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September. In St. Anna ter Muiden there is a wonderful programme from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
On Saturday afternoon, there will be 3 performances by Ashels with instrumental folk from France, Flanders, Spain, Ireland and Scotland.
On Sunday afternoon, 3 performances (1 p.m. / 2 p.m. / 3 p.m.) by the Hunting Horn Group Botermelck/La Garenne and the Damme Hunting Horn Players.
St. Anna ter Muiden is the ideal place to discover the elements of the Open Monument Day theme, such as
the authentic interior of a small Dutch Reformed church
the archaeological finds in the St. Anna Church
the sweeping view from the tower over the Zwin region
the Vanished Zwin Ports via the cycling route
the cross-border walk to Retranchement along boundary posts, redoubts and polder dikes
the table with extensive documentation about the church and Sint Anna ter Muiden
The exhibition “Stories about the church” by BOEi in the garden.
